11 years of friendship

yesterday's conversation definitely made me smile:)

3 boys. 1 girl.

3 in Singapore. 1 in USA.

3 wear specs. 1 perfect eye sight

4 Staff Sergeants.

yes. that's US. Taiyuan, Chee Hoe, Zhi Hui and Meishan.

yes. that's 11 years of friendship.

Chee Hoe: My best male buddy forever. He is doing very well now. Signed on with the air force as engineer. Going NTU next year. His determination is something which i always admired. He did not do well in primary school. He went to Normal (technical) in Sec sch but he never gave up. Strived his way and did well in life. He topped in his ITE and went on to top in his Poly. Achieved an aggregate of 4.99 upon 5! hoots. smart!! now, he is accepted into a local Uni and of course, he continues to work hard in life. indeed, he took a much longer route than the rest, but he still made it there. He once told me: " There is nothing called ability. I only believe in Attitude." I'm so proud of you buddy!!:) 

Tai Yuan: My best friend's ex boyfriend aka my 1st ex boyfriend's best friend. In USA now. He signed on with air force as well. doing very well. He is still deciding to fly F16 or F15:) super cool la you! he still commented that pilots are nothing but just taxi drivers. cuz he sits behind the pilots and commands them to do things! bought himself a Ford car. wah. i am so proud of you too, Tan Tai Yuan!!:) 

Zhi Hui: My first love. I am so happy that things are no longer awkward between us. it has been a good long 4 years since we broke up. Yes, indeed, a special him in a special part of my heart but our friendship will never die. how wasted it will be if we are no longer friends. he is doing well too. in NTU's material engineering. still as family oriented. still as blur. he has matured so much through these years. seeing the world in a very different perspectives. all the way, Zhi Hui!!!:)

i missed those days when 4 of us will stayed back after school to plan for NPCC events. those days when we tried to learn how to dance for our performance. those ubin ATC camps. (how horrible we all can look: never bathe for days, never brush teeth for days, never comb hairs for days!!!). the cycling trip at West Coast Park. how u guys can criticize the size my butt. how u guys never treated me like a girl until the last gathering when 4 of us when to this korean restaurant and finally u guys let me chose what to eat because i am a girl. seriously, how gentlemen u all can be! and how we all ended up at this coffee shop below my hse cuz u all insisted in sending me home!!! Tai Yuan and Chee Hoe were talking non-stop about Army stuffs whereas Zhi Hui and me kept laughing non stop at the Stephen Chow's show.

i wanna those gatherings again!!!! 

and pls note: I am no longer a girl okay! I am a woman:)

the sudden shock from dad when i wiped off the dirt from his mouth yesterday. the shock from not understanding how come i became so gentle MADE ME SMILE YESTERDAY.

the random groups of kids showing so much excitement on their first trip on a MRT ride at Braddell MRT station MADE ME SMILE TODAY.
